How to Set Up a Motorola Cliq XT

The Motorola Cliq XT provides users with the ability to stay up to date with happenings form popular social media web site including Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. 1. Remove the back cover of the phone by pushing in the button on the bottom and using your fingernails to peel off the cover
2. Insert the SIM card into the card slot form the back of the phone. Make sure the card is facing the right direction.
3. Align the pins of the battery with the four pins on the phone and set the battery in place.
4. Replace the back cover on the phone.
5. Use a screen protector to prevent damaging the touch sensors and avoid scratching the screen. Cut out a sheet of the material to fit the size of the screen on the phone.
6. Push and hold the power button until you feel the phone vibrate. The phone will take about two minutes to boot up.
7. Set up a Moto blur account. Create a user name by taping the text area where it says user name. The android keyboard will come up on screen to allow you to type. Follow the same step to create a password. Scroll down to tap the submit button. It is not required to set up any further accounts at this point.
8. Customize you home screen as you desire. You can add apps and widgets to the main screen such as a calendar, calculator or clock.
